Replace all images in a document

If you’re using a document with several images, there’s a quick way to swap out all of them.

Get your replacement image on the clipboard from inside Word, then open the Find & Replace dialog by using the Ctrl+H keyboard shortcut:

Now, type “^g” (all graphics) as the find value and “^c” (the clipboard contents) as the replacement, then Replace All. (The “^” key is the Shift character over the number “6.”

P.S. The Word Like a Boss course covers how to make the Find and Replace the default dialog when you hit Ctrl+F. The default action Word takes is to open the Navigation Pane. Use code BOSS_9 at checkout to score big savings.
